ION Plated

Once the design is finalized, a plastic mold is filled with liquid stainless steel.  The stainless steel design is then cleaned of all impurities through a process known as 'sputtering'.  An opposite electrical charge is introduced and that forces the coating and underlying layer to bond.  KA's silver ion plated stainless steel designs are always 100% solid stainless steel, while yellow gold designs are 18K yellow gold over stainless steel and rose gold 18K over stainless steel.

Agate Stones

Agates are semi-precious gemstones (a variety of chalcedony) that were first discovered near modern day Sicily.  The name AGATE comes from the river Achates, now known as the Dirillo River.  Agates naturally develop in rocks, when an empty pocket is filled with micro-crystals and form concentric bands or other patterns.

Agate is believed to cleanse and stabilize ones aura by eliminating and transforming negativity.  Agate is also thought to improve concentration and enhance mental function.  It is generally accepted that wearing agate can soothe and calm, heal anger or tension and can create a sense of security and safety.
